My name is Erin Kelly. I am a senior Dietetics student at SUNY Oneonta. I grew up in Cicero, NY a small town outside of Syracuse, NY. Growing up I always enjoyed helping people in any way I could and was intriged with health and fitness. I was involved and continue to be involved in a lot of volunteer work and programs to help better others well being. I have always been interested in all fields of work pertaining to working with people within the medical field. This has shown through the many "when I grow up.." thoughts I have had from my childhood to now. It started with pediatrician and my love for children, moving into physical therapy with my love for sports, moving to radiology and finally resulting in a major in dieteics. However, once I began working at a local dental office in my area I decided that was where I fit. I decided to continue on with the dieteics major that I had already began because I do not like starting something and not finishing it. I will graduate in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and will then continue on to Dental Hygiene school at SUNY Canton. I love learning new things and believe that the more knowledge I can get the better a person I will be in the career path I end with. I have compromised my resume, all of my undergraduate work, volunteer and community service, as well as paid positions I have held in hopes to give you a better insight to myself.
